I was told most cars come with a standard aux port which you can then plug into the Ipod headphone port? someone said they are normally in the glove box or behind the stereo?

I dont want to upgrade my whole steroe. Do you know of any other way I can hook the Ipod up without using one of the FM transmitters as Ive heard there crap.

Can anyone post where to get one of these tape to IPOD aux things? Would it work with a non-ipod brand?
What's it called?
Thanks
