In my 306 i had one of those circular magnets on the dash, and a thin stip magnet in the back of my phone, and it was amazing.

however, new car, new phone (nokia n80) and i have no where to put the magnet on the car, and the thin stirp doesn't fit into the phone

i've been sticking it in the ashtray but i'm soon doing a double din conversion so wont have that option.

I dont want those big clunky holders as they look gay.

Where do you stick you phone ?

I put mine on top of the steering column, seems a perfect place for it.
Though dont try and reach through the steering wheel just before you need to turn a corner...as ive done on more than one occasion...very scary!

i got a phone holder off ebay for 5 notes. it sticks onto the window with a sucker and sits to the right of steering wheel. it's looks cheap (well it was after all) but it does the job for me in terms of using my phone for gps etc. it does bounce about a little over bumps though.

but for 5 quid i can't grumble.

I do that most of the time too although not good when turning a tight corner!

I also but mine in my bag on the passenger seat, in my bag on the floor by the passenger footwell, loose on my passenger seat (not good around corners) or in my lap, it depends what mood im in and where im going
