During my recent service, I was told my front brake pads had 30% wear left (50% wear left on rear pads).

I drive around 1200 miles a month, so how long would that last for, when would you replace them? I've driven around 28,000 miles since I brought the car less than 2 years ago and have never had them changed before - car is on 60,000 miles now.

http://www.brakes4u.co.uk are selling EBC DP1330 for £24.10+vat, are these any good? They also accept paypal, and free delivery for orders over £30, so could get front and rear pads, including VAT and delivery for £40.

Car is a Toledo TDi 130 2003

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I don't thrash the car and am easy on the brakes so I should be fine with standard pads, though depends how much more the ds2500's are.

better to stick with standard if your happy with them IMO. ibizacupra can give you prices if you ever feel you need stronger braking.
