OK, I am having my wheels re-balanced and tracking done tomorrow due to a couple of reasons. Wheel wobble and slightly off centre steering wheel.

What settings are you people running? I have 16's on my Leon.

Thanks

Rudd, thanks. Insteresting read, and something I will check when the wheels are off.

But I am really after what settings people are using. I know what I would have on a scooby or and RX-7, but haven't had a FWD car for about 10 years....

Thanks

I don't know but thought you may be able to check and save some ££ on your 4-wheel alignment

Rudd, went to get it sorted out by going with the settings that the workshop had, but the track rod/track rod end is damaged.

I will know more once it's gone back to the dealer to resolve.

But I still cant find anything on what the settings should be!

as the camber & castor isn't adjustable... it doesn't matter

plus any good 4 wheel alignment place will have factory settings, which your car won't meet (even when fixed)

so just adjust the toe in to about 6 seconds & all is well

camber is adjustable, by moving the subframe, which has a little play in it!

I do actually have the settings at home, i'll have a look for you tonight and tell you what angle this should be at!

Its ok mate. Somthing has gone very wrong with my car. Was handling like a dream and then suddenly after hammering a roundabout the whole car has gone weird. When i turn the wheel it feel like the back end is sliding out to steer.. very very strange. I'm going to have to whip all the wheel off and have a good look at everythink.. Not a happy bunny!!! :ban:

hmm. it might just have been me being paranoid!! i have taken all the wheels off. everythink looks fine.. I took it out for a spin and it still felt like it but i think it was me making it doing it. Just feel like oversteer. had a little hammer round a round about and it seemed to hold ok.

Just me i think. but now its on coilies it needs to have a full gro done!

Thanks Pat i shall have a good look at all of them at the weekend. Looking forward to the meet :D
