Im thinking of getting my wheels refurbed (car was ex demo, so abit scuffed). Do u reckon i should go for the standard antharcite again?

Ive heard bright silver looks nice but? Mines a Silver Cupra R. Not sure silver, silver would look good?

Also dunno whether i should get the spare done at the same time? already doing 4. i know it wont match but, it be kinda nice to get it dun, so they are all the same?

Bloody expensive, but it wil be powder coated and dipped.

55+vat per wheel.

What u reckon guys? ive heard some ppl have had them in black ?Arghh cant never decide.

Dipped in what? Do you mean they're dipping them to strip the paint off prior to recoating?

Black looks good on a silver car, IMHO. If you go for black, haggle on the price - the powder will be cheaper. :)

definitly black on a silver car

Sorry, don't see the point of black alloys I'm afraid... might as well put steel wheels on and take the hub caps off....

I agree!! though black alloys do look mean on white cars!! because their two prime colours..

Handy reading these posts actually.. Bought my LCR '03 about 2 weeks ago.. great example but the women driver had kurbed 3 of the wheels. Font right is a nightmare. so ive been looking around to get mine refurbed..

www.wheelrefurbishing.com - this place looks pretty good!! great prices aswell. might be a bit far from me though..

man shadow chrome looks WELLLLLLLLL nice. definately gonna get them in that. such a nice colour.

cheers bro!

And the price for 50 a wheel isnt wet painted. these are stripped using a acid solution down to alloy and then powered coated. so its done properly. think theres a big warranty on them aswell. Wicked Wheels, actual drive in site in west sussex, crawley.

I mean u can get it dun for 30 a wheel. but ive seen people have them done from like cps and chips away where they dont even take the wheel off and do it with the tire on the rim. and use a hot air gun to dry the paint. that really is sh*te IMO. u get lacker runs and all sorts. better to get the job dun properly and u can get the actual paint code. so if u acidently scuff it again, u dont need to do all four to match.
