Hi guys after bit advice. Just got some S3 alloys to put on my lc and they could do with bit of tlc to get them looking nice. Was thinking about getting them shotblasted and spraying them up to save money(would probably look good but not too durable) or could have them blasted and then have them powder coated. Heard this is the best option. Is this expensive to have done?

I'd strongly recommend you get them done properly. The previous owner of my Toledo had the alloys cleaned and painted, so at first look they're great. But they got instantly tatty when I had my new tyres fitted, the paint just wasn't up to having tyre levers applied, even inside the bolt holes where the spanner accidentally hit it has chipped the paint.

Wheels are very vulnerable, they need a tough finish to look good.

You can get them done cheaper but you get what you pay for.
I had mine powder coated by Spit & Polish and they look great, I think I paid about £55 per wheel.
