Wasn’t really sure where to put this, but the info may prove useful to someone.

So while fitting my spacers last night and being @paddy6789’s lackey ;) I discovered something interesting about these wheels.

They look identical in design at first (if not colour obviously), but only when taking them off you notice the differences.

The Cupra R wheels spokes stick further out than the carbons, almost beyond the lip of the wheel itself. I wouldn’t want to put them face down even on a flat surface.

Where the Carbon version tapers out more gradually. The nuts also sit a lot further in on the R version, so of course the offsets are different.

I asked @KernelOkey the offset of his Cupra R ST wheels (standard not his Revo ones). I assumed they’d be the same as the Carbon as the car doesn’t have the wheel arch extensions of the 5 door R. However they’re different again...

Carbon Edition 19x8 ET50
Cupra R ST 19x8 ET45
Cupra R 5 door 19x8 ET40

I wonder what the Cupra Ateca Copper pack wheel offsets are as they look identical too.

Pictures of the R and Carbon...
