Wheel nut help

Hi, i have a Leon Cupra R with 18" alloys. I can't work out how to remove the wheel!! I guess the wheel nuts are covered with wheel nut covers - how on earth do you get them off?

PLease help

Thanks - there isn't, does anyone know where i can get hold of one?

I cant get the cover off to fit my snow chains :cry:

you shouldn't need to take the wheel off to fit snow chains. you normally drive onto part of them, wrap them round the wheel and clip them at the back.
i have found large crocodile clips - like for battery terminals - grab the plastic covers really well :)

Ah ok, thanks - my snow chains fasten onto one wheel nut, so although i dont need to remove the wheel i do need to remove one wheel nut cover on eachdrive wheel...i'll give a crocodile clip a try - there is no official removal tool in the spare wheel in the car. I used a bit of wire to fiddle one of them off but that's scratching the Wheel itself and is way too fiddly to do half way up a mountain in a blizzard (which is where i'll no doubt have to fit the snow chains in the Apls next week)
