car going into dealers for bearings also got rattle on back end when i hit any bumps any clues?

wheelbearings, christ, you must have done some miles in your mk2

My wheel bearing went at the rear right at 16k miles and had to be replaced on mk2 fr, be interested to know what they suggest to you, ie both bearings or just the one?

so every 15-20k the bearings go an will keep going, do they not get replaced with better quality ones?

dealer found nothing wrong with bearings ,but did find rear suspension out of alignment caising inside of rear tyres to scrub,as ive only had the car for a month they are putting two new rear tyres on car and doing the alignment for free .

I had my rear bearings replaced at 16k miles on my FR.. Seems a bit crappy if its a common problem they go every 15k ish miles!
