Hello everyone

I got my car back from the body shop yesterday and on the drive back noticed that the windows were not working as they should be

They were both working fine when the car went into the body shop (i could do two clicks whether it be up or down and move my hand away and the window would open or close) but now they work when doing two clicks to put them down as they still go down automatically but if i do two clicks to go up automatically it wont do it and i have to hold my finger on the button as if i had just clicked it once?

The only thing i can think of that may have caused this is that i had the Grab Handles replaced about a month ago but they have been working fine and this is the first problem i have got

Any ideas?

Theyve had the battery off.

You need to hold you finger on the button for 7-10 sec AFTER the window has come down fully and the same going up. Relearns the one touch.

The bodyshop will have....

Alot of them will do it 'for they're own safety'.....

Incase they get a shock or something :)

Hhmm i suppose they were spraying the wing and would have been fiddling around near the battery?

its possible that they have had to remove the battery to get at the wing bolts to take it off to spray?

Its like when haynes tells you to disconnet the battery to do things....when you really don't need to...

Just sounds as if they have done a job properly.....and safely.
