whats wrong with my beezer

Got my cupra yesterday and todays i have noticed a odd sound when u hit around 1500rpm and then it goes back to normal. It occurs in any gear wether approcahing 1500 or cumming down. Its really loud at times but only occurs between 1300-1500rpm

tdi's make a growel sort of noise when you are on the torque band 1500 to 2500 revs

if it's not that it could be another case of loose bolts that hold the turbo on or a leaking boost hose

or even a blowing exhaust if the cars a bit older

how old/mileage is it?

Its the strutbrace knocking against the air box

Fixed with a bit of plastic foam and cellotape!!!

was gonna say, i know with the pd130 that the plastic boost pipe that runs up the top side of the engine, mine used to knock against the fuel pump, but a sponge stopped that.
