According to an email i received from Seat UK some time ago when i asked them about this matter, they say that the kerb weights quoted include all fluids full (ie. fuel, washer, etc..) and an allowance of 75kg for a driver.

I still haven't heard of anyone getting their LCR on a weigh bridge to check this out.

If you try a search you'll find some discussion about this and why its 56kg heavier than the LC model.

The handbook quotes 1366kg - 1386kg, presumably because some models abraod don't have 18" as standard and may be lighter, and if you choose the recaros and sat nav it may increase the weight as well.

The UK standard car is reported to be 1376kg.

1000 kg per tonne. Therefore a 210 gives 153 bhp per tonne.

(Lets say) 275 bhp with Jabba gives 200 bhp per tonne (right up in scooby territory):D

I'm not 100% on the weight of the car though.

Is this what you mean?

You could always ditch your 20kg spare wheel, although I wouldn't recommend it (just had a puncture)

Alternatively make the other half get the bus ;)

P.S. should also raise the question do other manufacturers include a driver as well, why is the Leon so much heavier than Golf or A3 models

Arse, should have spotted that really.

You'd never guess I got an A in my Maths GCSE and in Maths and Statistical Mathmatics at A Level!!

So on that basis a 210 Cupra R is 152.62 BHP per tonne

On the presumtion that 280BHP is reached on the remap it goes up to 203.64BHP per tonne.

Anyone know where you can pick up general stats of Porches, Civic Type R's etc :D

So far (on paper anyway in comparison of standard cars) the following scalps are to be had.................

(All BHP per tonne)

Escort Cossie 176
Ford Focus RS 169
Renault Sport Clio V6 (255) 182
Golf R32 163
Golf VR6 145
Porsche Boxster 182
Porsche Boxster S 200
Aston Martin DB7 200
Audi RS2 201
Honda NSX 196 (My old mans got one of these, he's going to kill me!)

I know its a pointless thread, just helping to justify taking the car to Jabba thats all!!

Needless to say I couldnt get any Ferraris on the list and only one or two scoobies and Evo's would fit so I didnt bother:cheers:

remeber that the car will get lighter with less fuel (obvious i know but how many of us drive about with a full tank of fuel) and also that most cars put out mor ethan standard figures, so you could argue that mine with 229 stock is actually 166.42bhp/T
