Whats the difference between the cupra and cupra r?

Helloooooooooo,

Im looking to buy a Mk3 Ibiza, could some one tell me the difference betweeen the Cupra and the Cupra R please?

I know the R has an extra 30bhp and is 2 insurance groups higher. But is there any difference in the engines, interior, brakes, suspension and styling ect?

Your help would be great thanks!

Will they both tune up to the same sort of powers?

The 'R' has a different factory map than the 'cupra' but both have the same engine.

looks loads better but most ppl get used to no cover

The Cupra R has "R" in its name... again a fundamental difference that you lot havnt pointed out...

ok on a serious note, its also more expensive to insure!!
