Just bought a house so i'm needing something that eats less fuel and is kinder on tax and insurance, a Cordy SX TDi to be specific ;), but first the monster has to go!

I've got a figure in my head but i'm wondering what you guys are thinking? She's in great condition is in a lovely red colour which i will really miss and has a FULL service history. I really don't want to get rid especially as i have just spent nearly two grand making her mechanically excellent. Recent things include new discs and pads all round, head gasket and cambelt change, radiator, clutch cable, clutch pedal box, new yokohama tyres and all the usual servicing items also.

As for performance she gives my mates Leon FR TDi 150 a good kicking in a straight line so i reckon she's still on top form there.

Bad bits then, there really aren't many, the front wheels are a bit curbed but i'll do a deal with the buyer where all four can be re-done for £100 extra as i work in the motor industry and know a good paint man. There a few stone chips in the bonnet and windscreen, bonnet ones are touched up and the car past its MOT two months ago with all chips in place. Mileage might be considered high at 118,000 but its been well looked after as my pile of receipts will testify.

So give me an idea then please, good examples are going between £1500 and £2500 on auto trader.

Forgot to mention the whole car including the interior has been Supaguarded - http://www.clean-image.co.uk/paintsealant/supaguard.htm

yeah, nearer the top end then, probably a grand give or take a bit (depends how easy you want a sale!)
