Been thinking about leaving the fold recently, basically to clear my loan and free up a bit of money. Not sure what my car would be worth though.

It's an 04 Cupra tdi
39k miles
Remapped
Uprated Sachs Clutch
Seat Sport strut brace
Green cotton filter
FSH

Whether or not I could really follow through with selling or not, I'm not sure, I'd miss the car, it's a good mix of performance and economy.

Anyone?
Parkers give a private sale value of just under £9k, Glass's give a trade in value of £8400 for a car in excellent condition. The trade in value seems a little high to me.

full service history
12 months MOT

Just because people are advertising them for £x on autotrader doesn't mean they're selling for that amount, there's cars on there similar to mine for over £10k, I'm thinking of putting it on for £8500.

maybe price it around what others are, you never know you might get a bit more for it then your hoping, you can always knock it down when people view it

I don't want to waste money advertising a car priced too highly and putting potential buyers off, but then again I don't want to undervalue it.

How soon are you looking to get rid of it mate?

My mate is really looking for 1. Have you got any pictures of it?

Probably late next month, no pictures at the minute, but I'm sure I could sort some out.
It's platinum grey by the way.

I'd say over price it a little. If you get the money - great! If not, then lower it slightly. Believe me these cars are popular! And I don't think people will be put off. If they want one, they'll keep looking. :)
