Whats cars have ko3s

hey guys done a search but not been able to find out this. been looking at getting a ko3s turbo but want to know which cars noramly have them on and which will fit ibiza cupra mate owns a scrap yard so maybe able to get 1 from there if i can say what car they normaly on.

the mk 4 ibizas do both fr and cupra, ausi tt 150 180 bhp do i belive, think its all vag cars with 1.8 t upto the 200 bhp mark i belive

ah right cool, how can u tell if its a ko3s turbo does ti say it on it?

i believe all the k03s turbos start with the numbers 052, 053 & 058 , will search for info



EDIT more info 052 is silenced , 053 and 058 are unsilenced versions

dunno to be honest , you could check , the silenced versions have a flared outlet ( hard to explain really )



best paint effort i can do , unsilenced versions pipe is a constant shape along its length

ah right like a silencer in the exhaust ill try and look next time im underneath as i cant see it from the engine bay!

best bet is actually from the top is a mk4 is anything like a mk3 , right at the back under the engine cover ,

cant see anything at the back of the engine its so tight cant only just see the brass colourd bit lol think its unsilenced tbh io think i would have seen the can on it i think if it had one cheers mate will look properly now is tha the part that ataches to the boost pipe or the intake part?
