 silly question i know, but as above. I just bought a MOMO front strut brace that listed to fit the mk2 ...but didnt come with screws grrr. anyone got a picture of their screws? what type ...self tapping? how long? thick?

tested to fit and its a real b!tch, movement of the coolant tank, brake fluid and alarm thingy is needed ...annoying but can be done!

I have mine bolted on. Mine didnt come with screws either but the garage that fitted it used nuts and bolts.

As for moving the coolant tank you only have to remove the rear screw and turn it slightly to the left. I only had to move the top cap on the brake fluid tank so the wires going into it didnt get in the way. I put a zip-tie throught the hole on the coolant tank and the bracket where the screw was removed just for extra support.

bolted on?? ahh just in time, i was on my way to B&Q to get self tappers because i think nuts and bolts would mean taking off the strut, right? and i cant do that lol (im useless)

yeh i tested it and i repositioned the bonnet alarm switch, and the back screw for the coolant, it was the brake fluid i was having trouble with

and also my one isnt a full circle on the edges its just a half circle, man i hope its for this car as it says >99 ibiza/cordoba

No you dont have to take the strut off.

You drill a hole in the metal around the strut and bolt it under the plastic inner arch. Like so:
