looks like the coolant sensor to me.....

it goes where the top rad hoses joins the engine block....

no pics to help unfortunatley !!!

No idea what that sensor is but it looks nothing like the coolant temp sensor I have had replaced...

any one at all able to direct me to the temp sensor im going to post a couple of pics so any advice would me most helpfull

in pic two what is this i guess its a sensor but which one?

Pic 2 looks like coolant temp sensor. Underneath the muck it might be a cream colour 2 pin job.

so i undo that nut and the temp sensor is under that then

that sensor is way to big for that im thinking that the temp sensor i need is the 4 pin job

ok temp sensor changed plugs cleaned leads checks rotor arm and cap cleaned isv cleaned throttle intake cleaned and still have problem thing is now iv changed to temp sensor it cuts out v soon into the journey it will restart straight away but wont cut out again until i leave it for over 2 hours or so any more ideas coz its realy
