hello everyone,

my friend has an 2007 ibiza cupra, 180BHP, BBU engine code.
can some one please tell which rods he has?
19mm or 20mm? we tend to believe it's a 19mm.
the question refers to all the 1.8t ibiza's mk4. dosen't have to be a BBU engine code.

thanks guys...

I hope that you are talking about the (front) ARB in which case I'd guess it would be the 20mm one - lots of people thought that it was only the Fabia VRS that got the 20mm ARB - but I think that it is any car with a PR-0AR has a 19mm ARB and any car with a PR-0AS has a 20mm ARB. Strangely ETOS just lists two sizes for Ibiza 18mm and 29mm! I've worked out that this is an error and there should be three sizes PR-0AQ = 18mm, PR-0AR = 19mm and PR-0AS = 20mm - check your car's build data (ask your dealer's parts dept to print out a "car data" listing they always come in handy - they will need you VIN of course!).

How embarassing for me! Damn why did they fit conrod/piston pins the same diameter as the ARBs ??? So, I get it, the 75ps 1.4's must have 18mm pins (well you never know!).
