hey there ive recentaly bought a 2004 leon cupra and was wondering wot mods r worth it. thinking of getting the gt2x kit, either 380cc or 440cc injectors, fmic, high flow manifold, 3"d/p and decat.

Already got milltek cat back exhaust

Just wondered if any of you have had any experiences with this stuff!

also is a 3"Maf worth getting and i know you have to modify tubes etc but do anywhere sell a complete kit for doin it. and does the sensor fit the 3" housing.

Also would revo remap support these upgrades i'm looking for just under 300bhp

thanx for any help

Welcome to SCN!

Im no expert, but i think 300bhp is a little optimistic even with all the stuff listed. Revo remap will take you to around 240bhp at stage 2 and mods listed I think (estimate until otherwise told). Most of the LCR boys are only just tipping the 270bhp mark with the kind of mods you've listed. Might have to look for a bigger turbo if you wanna hit 300bhp with a 180 cupra.

Enjoy your new toy & good luck though! :)

Yea to get that kind of power you are going to have to up the turbo IMO. Also i would get a Custom Code, MRC, or a Jabba map as i have been in car with the K03s turbo and all of these maps have been very good, where as the Revo just lights up the tyres. Badger 5 (Bill) is very clued up and can do you a very good deal on the Custom Code and other bits.

i thought the garrett gt2x eliminator kit is a bigger turbo rated for 290 bhp! yeah a custom map would be better but there's no where near me that does them! maybe should speak 2 badger

theres a few turbo kits out there that will give you 300bhp+

standard internals should be safe at about 320bhp max.. above that id strengthen the rods at least.

i also upgraded my brakes and suspension...

plenty of info on here... try the search button ;)

good luck

If you want a turbo upgrade nick-barnes07 has an IHI turbo for sale I have seen it and it is mint and very cheap. You will need the other bits from Jabba for the conversion, but when he had his Ibiza IHI it was pushing 342bhp. Look it up in the for sale area of the forum.

We do a lot of tuning with JBS Auto Designs and their big turbo kits :) Why don't you have a quick look at theirs :)

We find that the JBS kits are very nice to work with and produce good power too!
