What is wrong with my car?

i have a 97 ibiza cupra 16v
When i reach 50 mph my steering wheel shakes about 1" side to side then gradually gets worse to about 70mph
ive had my wheels balanced cos i had to get some new tyres the other day so it aint that.....
what do u think it could be?
oh and i have changed the drop link bushes from the anti roll bar and the wishbones so it aint that

wheel bolts (you would be surprised how loose they can get)
tracking (also get your wheels rebalanced at a different garage)
brake discs could be warped
tyre pressures
did you fit the bushes yourself? what did you undo to fit them?

could be all the above or your wheel could be buckled

I had 3 buckled wheels, jigged last year

All of the above and wheel bearings. Mine got so bad it rumbled through the steering wheel.

Ask a stupid question also. Your wheels. Do they sit on the hub or do you have to line up the bolts? If you haven't got spigot rings and have to line the wheel up to fit it i'm 99.9% sure that'll be the root of your problem!!

yup, as he said, check you have spigot rings (plastic rings that clip inside of centre wheel hole)
