What is this sensor?

Can anybody tell me what this is and what its supposed to do, Its not throwing any fault codes up in Vag-com, Im fairly new to this.

any help would be appreciated. BTW its the part attatched to the red hose with the melted wires??

Alright mate,

I dont think thats anything to worry about performance wise because you can disconnect the vacuum hoses without any effect on performance.

Pretty sure its your N249 , or part of it.

no strictly true, there should be 2 valves that look like the one you've pictured. It looks like someones already done the N249 bypass and this could be the one that needs to be plumbed in as its got a tube going to it.

I'd have a search for N249 bypass on the forums and compare it to your setup

My N112 fell off about 4-5 months ago, i just ripped it off, need to get it resistored up.

Whatever one it is mate you should remove it all. You dont need the n249 and it looks much better without them.

I have seen your car a couple of times, seen it at xscape just before i got my leon. I was parked near you in the ibiza.

Did you fit your intercooler youself ? Would be good to see if theres much power difference with and without it.

Nice one. Aye I fitted it myself wasnt too bad apart from chopping some metal away lol. Wasnt too neat cutting the bumper out because I knew it was going in for a respray anyway

bonnet smoothed of all dents and sprayed black
mirrors black

back quarter panel HUGE scrape took out and resprayed pretty good price aswell.

He did the opening in my front bumper too , filled dents and refurbed the wheels at that price
