What is this pipe thingymibob for?

As above it looks like the pipe i used on my impreza when i put a vta bov on it. Dont think i have any type of aftermarket valve on and this pipe is the blue samco type so i dont think its standard.



Anyone shed some light on this for me? Should there be a pipe there connected to something else like the intake anything.

looks like a standard pipe up to the throttle body but aint sure why its been cut into then blanked off.

maybe some 1 had a cold side DV relocation on the car

I'd be tempted to get a straight joiner - you remove two more places for a boost leak if you loose the t-piece

No necessarily "home made" or Pikey. Forge used to (still do??) sell a cold side relocation kit that you cut into the stock TB hose...
