What is this in the left side mirror?

Hi everyone,

I noticed this thing in the left (drivers) side mirror (there is none on the right side). What is it?

That to me looks like a camera. Perhaps they missed off the others side. You either got a dud camera housing if yours doesnt have 360 / top view. The other thing you see is the window for the project emblem. Can't see that in the picture. But the circle lens is part of a 360 / top view camera set up.

Hmm, it's weird that the right-side mirror doesn't have it. That tells me that one of the mirrors might have been replaced as the car doesn't originally come with a 360 view camera set-up.

You can stick your hand in front and it will illuminate but that look a lot like a lens. The Ateca with top view and the logo has two windows, the lens I'm seeing and the window for the projection. Normal the hello, logo or whatever is projected on both sides why to me it looked like you didn't have a hello but the wrong case fitted for the camera which you haven't got.
