I have a mk3 ibiza cupra 02 reg. Noticed a hissing noise about 30 mins after i parked the car up in the works carpark. On further inspection i have a small patch of bright flurescent (sp) green fluid just under the radiator on the passenger side. Sounds like its spraying out alot, but theres only a tiny patch on the floor. First of all i thought the radiator, but the fluid in this is red/pink so it can be that. Can have a proper look at the moment because im at work, want to jack it up when i get back so i can have a good look. Does anyone have any ideas?????

Mine dribbles, the doctor said its nothing to worry about.... ;)

But onto the aircon, mine was leaking so took the risk and dumped a load of sealent/refill in the system, got it from ebay. Was 30 quid and its fine now. Mine was leaking from the canister behind the rad on the drivers side.

Was warned that the aircon pump *may* packup, but if it does its coming off :)

probably not - air con rad's are easy enough to change, not that dear & refill's are cheaper than ever.

Power steering fluid is green.

It will only be aircon if a leak detection dye has been added at some point as the PAG oil is not bright green.

power stg fluid isnt really bright green though ?

you sure your coolant is pink ? or is just the bottle

More trouble stuie!

yeah more trouble mate.

On closer inspection i can confirm that it is the aic con rad, got a small dent at the bottom of it to the right hand side, the hole must be very small as the fluid is no longer leaking, only dripped about 7-8 times, thats stopped and so has the hissing. Even with the air con on theres no leakage, air con is stiill coming out nice and cold too.
