Ive done a lil search and cant seem to find anything, does anyone know exactly what the seat 3 yr warranty covers? It says on their website that the 1st 2 yrs are manufacturers warranty and the final year is a dealer one.

It all depends what fault you have. Wear and tear items are not covered (so clutches, brakes etc). It should cover most things like electrical faults etc i think.
I'm sure there was one in my Document folder along with owners manual stereo manual etc, allbeit that mine was out of warranty when I got it.
It pretty much covers anything on the car except wear and tear parts, brakes, discs, light bulbs, tyres etc.
Everything mechanical right down to badges fading, boot trims everytyhing. Ive had a lot sorted (mostly minor) under my warranty. Like all things it prob depends on the dealer.

And even if they say no just make alot of noise about it with people's superiors etc, as long as it isnt wear and tear or you'l get nowhere. If you have a warantee you should have it in writing I would have thought as there would be a waranty reference number?
