What Brake Fluid Does the LCR Have as Standard?

I'm considering changing the brake fluid on my LCR sometime soon and wondered what grade of fluid it has as standard?

I've got plenty of DOT5.1 fluid left over from when I changed the fluid on my old car and I wonder if this will be okay? (and before anyone says it - no its not been opened and is fresh fluid!) :D

Mixing DOT 3/4/5.1 is ok DOT5 is silicone based so won't mix IIRC

Also the most important thing is the Wet/Dry boiling point. I picked up a halfords own brand DOT5.1 and I'm sure the boiling points were the same as Motul DOT4! Although I think the rating has something to do with how much water the fluid will absorb over time.

Thanks for the feedback peeps :D

Can I assume that DOT4 is used pretty much as standard across the entire VAG range?

The Missus' Golf GT TDi 150 could do with a brake fluid change too and I'm looking to put the DOT5.1 in that too?!

Any ideas?
