JBS are goin to install a boost gauge for me and have told me to get a pod that replaces the entire A Pillar. Can some please recommend and decent gauge and where i can get the pod from. Also how do they connect the gauge to the turbo, does this affect warranty? Thanks

When i had mine in, i drilled the inlet pipe, from the intercooler and then tapped it, then fitted a 1/8 NPT brass fitting and some 6mm tube, ran it down the driver side wing, then through the door hinge area, job done.....

Although ive took it off now as it was doing my head in as it was soo noisy!!!

i don't know about autogauge, a local shop sells them they seemed a bit ... "cheap" .. i use VDO in my car they are very good quality. I got mine from 42 Draft Designs, though - maybe a bit expensive on shipping for you. I just recieved my dual pod from Nomad racing, good finish, but im still windering how to best fit it as there are no clips.

On a 1.8T its simple, but for a TDi as Sisson said, you will have to drill the IC pipe and use a barb fitting. Install as close to the intake as possible for most accurate reading.

Also wire the illumination to the dash brightness switch, not ACC, so the gauge dims with the rest of the dash

good luck!

a phase one remapped diesel, won't see over 30 psi,

mine was peaking at 26 psi and settling at 24psi,

not sure about leons tho, probs the same,
