The higher the K rating the less light you get, the 12k is pretty blue but looks very good. And is still far better than the standard lights.

IMO 120k is too purple. I have HID 6000k which is spot on! daylight light with blue tint and doesnt look chav. White lines and motorway signs are soooo easy to read. Plus isnt 12000k above the legal limit?

No aftermarket retro fit HID's are stricly legal...

its a grey area. I looked into it before buying them.

1. They need to be self levelling
2. Illegal if installed on a range rover or vehicle with headlights exceeding a certain height but mines lowered lol
3. They have to be below 55w standard power. Mines 35
4. The light pattern MUST not be different.
5. They should be EEC Approved and Eurospec which mine is.

The only thing that could make mine illegal from the list is the self levelling bit. I checked all this with an MOT centre.

one other thing..the company who i have bought mine from on ebay say that look out for counterfit hid's such as bosch because bosch do not make hid kits. it could be cow poo but make sure your selller has a good feedback fo the item.

he has got over 1400 feedback , so all seems okay, there cheap anyway so dont really care if they **** bosch , as long as they are a lot brighter than the standard bulbs
