Anyone got one of these?

If so what do you think about them. Does anyone know the performance compared to the Cupra Rs and what are the tuning capabilities?
I've never seen one of them here in England but seen pics of them abroad; from the outside they look like a Mk2 Leon Cupra.

Any help or info would be apprecaited.

Thanks:confused:

well I meant that it's the facelift model, I tend to refer to them as the MK2s.

I know it would be an import, don't really mind the left hand drive stuff but I want something with a grunt and powerful. Does anyone know what the standard bhp for the V6 is?

or better still does anyone know where I can get some offcial info on them? I keep getting links for German and Spanish sites and No comprendo todo!!

To avoid confusion they are still the Mk1.....

English info will be thin on the ground, but try searching this forum, a few members have had Cupra4's

With the cost of LCR's from £8k now what's the point of looking at a more thirsty less powerfull V6?? a chipped LCR will see 255bhp+

Just the thought of a 4wd leon mk1 is so juicy tbh. Its ashame really because i do think it would have sold reasonably well.

Greetings

Hi guys,
So originally Im from mexico but I currently live in Paris. I have seen a bunch of cupra V6s in Mexico and only one here in paris. I have only had my LCR here in Paris and I can say the v6 is no match. The owner of the only other High end Leon (Never seen LCR in Paris or V6 xept that one) works close to my house. He's modded it it quite a bit up to 250HP and looks really nice I'll try and get picks. However it is much much heavier and at any speed I pull away from him with my stock 225 plus induction and supersprint. Autonomy sucks and sound isn't that great. Inside resembles the 210 alot and the 4x4 system apperantly isn't so efficient and it is because of this that SEAT decided to stick with 2WD and more power. Will have to drive it in the rain though and give u an update. Hope this was helpfull!

PS reason there are quite a few in Mexico has to do with altitude...or so I thought but apperantly at 2500M turbos loose less power than normal engines so I think ppl may have gotten it wrong. Or me ;p

better off getting a Golf v6 4-motion and supercharge it, Can be done for £10k including cost of car. A nice fat 350bhp and 4wd.
