please could someone help me.
was there a thread concerning wet foot wells ? , i vaguely remember some talk of air con drains or windscreen to blame. if this was correct was there any outcome on the fault.
as i now have the wet carpets , misting windows, and a smell of damp feet in the car. any advice would be great.

It could be the heater matrix. I've had this on other cars.
Is it a fair amount of water? How does the coolant level look?

Hi huxlee,

within your board I can only remember having read about this one
=> Water leak

but quite the same problem was discussed in our german forum a while ago as well ... and in one case there was a leaky tube coming from the sunroof leading down the a-pillar the reason for the moist inside.

greets ... Klaus

coolant levels have been fine. no change .
when i removed the front mats, the carpet was damp to the touch.
maybe its time for a trip to the garage.

Just an update ...
picked up my motor after 4 days in workshop. water leak was caused by split air conditioning drain hose, all replaced under warranty.
also the nice mechanics found two worn wheel bearings which have also been replaced.
