went out last night, turned ignition off, radio still on. pulled front face off still playing. face back on & no controls responding. got back home , pulled fuse to stop it , replaced all seemed OK
this morning Radio back on with ignition but again no controls responding, pull fuse all OK again. started car again radio working as normal

done nothing to car since pedal box but puzzled as to why it suddenly won't turn off with ignition?
only thing since 'box was done is airbag light on, possibly starting to affect other 'leccy things?

i'm assuming most likely scenario is unit at fault ? 'tis an old Clarion mp3 that was replaced when i bought car, 7+ years ago.

That sounds like a software/memory fault with the unit.

By pulling the fuse, you reset the unit, wiping the fault. We get stereos, usually JVC's, doing that every now and then, its not much to worry about. They just need a reset and they are fine again.

If it keeps doing it, once or twice a week or more, then it could be something more serious. But the odd once, i wouldnt worry :)
