weird noise when pulling

i have noticed on my 1.8t cupra that when in low revs in 1st and second mainly when pulling away there is a rattle i have noticed this also when the car is stood still and out of gear but only when i press the throttle gentley apart from that the car drives excellent dose any one know what this could be ?? many thanks

i would suggest checkin ur exhaust system, u may find a weld has snapped on heat shield which is causin the vibration. had a similar prob with an old car.

Where is the rattle coming from (in which area)?

from the front somewhere its an odd noise nothing ive ever herd before just seems to happen when in very low revs

Could it be the turbo spooling? Or maybe the turbo stalling, trying to spool up?

cat heat shield, the two rear bolts always rot and it eventually hangs down and rattles

had 2 cats do it now
