Weird MAF Code

Just check the car and got this code...


16487 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70) Signal too High
P0103 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent



The car runs great, no problems at all so whats this fault about? I'm sure i've seen it before as well.

thats weird, normally reads to low lol. Might be shorting out? hmm aliens inside?

If it's intermittent then might be a one off just clear it and see if it comes back! But could be on it's way out!

Nah its the original one, but my readings have always been low ish, never seen over 150 g/s. Will get out this week to log it.

Well i'm seein some low ish g/s on the logs. Got 142.9 max this week. Gonna clean it this week and see what happens. I've only had this twice tho in the past year so i'm not that worried now. Just might have a maf problem starting, will keep check and post back.

Have you solved the issue ? I have same on my Octavia RS. Just after putting a branf new maf. No simptoms just ABS light and this MAF fault code.

i got the too high code when i blew my Ic hose off
it's like more air coming through maf than entering the inlet (not too sure)
