Waxing applicators/buffers Qs

As the title says really... just a couple of questions.

What do you peeps do to get rid of wax from an applicator after using it? I would have thought just leaving it to dry would make it all powdery with dried residue so do you all wash it somehow after you've finished?

Also for wax buffing, what would you recommend? Are normal microfibre cloths acceptable, or are there an specialist tools that would help?

Thanks for the tips

For your applicators it's safe enough to pop them on a cool wash with non bio powder or liquid. You MUST NOT use fabric conditioner though.

Normal MF's are fine for removing wax but IMO its nice to have some decent quality MF's with a nice soft deep pile.
