water pump

now before i get death threats i have searched but i need opinions from folk its happened to,

Car idles fine, fans work at both speeds then while driving temperature rises, then falls on idle again. Water pump? or could it be the thermostat?
50500 miles due a cambelt anyway? Where can I get a cambelt kit including tensioners, also metal imperlor pump.

mine did same as yours and was the water pump, i made it another 2000miles more than you though

get it changed, and do cam belt while ya there

it went after a trip to the longest straighest part of road on the island where i live, **** myself due to the speed, then the imminent temperature rise.

Yeah, thats the pump.

Belt is due at 60k, but tbh you'd be better off doing it at 50k, as it all has to come off for the waterpump anyway.
