Sunroof ? Ariel ? or roof rack rails maybe. Hard to say really but unusual to get a leak around there.

Hhmm, if it is the window seal I would think you would see that ie staining down the glass too. Have you tried prying the seal back a bit ? If it is bad you will probably see some rust as well.

I mean the top not the sides, so the seal is below the windscreen I believe from looking at it not like a thick seal that goes down both sides of windscreen

Ok, I would pop the interior light housing out and have a butchers. If it is the seal you will see where it’s coming from. The screens are bonded so it could be goosed if everywhere else has been ruled out.

Ok so I did that and can’t see any visible leaks or rust. I even had water running via windscreen to see if any leaks - can’t see nothing.
I’m struggling to think where leak would be coming from as said no other wet other than area shown. Hmm

Now that is a strange one, maybe leaking in at the font edges and travelling along to that area, if not then I’m beat

I think I would take it to a screen specialist like Autoglass and ask them to look.
Looking at that picture again I see what you mean about the seal, pouring water over it for a minute won’t really show anything but if you ran a hose for a bit you may see where it’s coming from. I know it’s not ideal but I’d remove the interior light housing again and then do the hose test OR take it to Autoglass :help::givein:

Hey that’s what I meant with the water I had someone holding it spraying water towards it for a min or so, like rainfall basically with me inside with interior light removed and nothing.

might have to wait for next big down pour and go through same process before I try a screen specialist , thanks 😊

Sorry I can’t be anymore helpful. Would you mind taking a picture of the outside of that area and the roof area, I have a mate I’ll be seeing at work tonight who may have an idea (y)

Sorry for the late reply (constant work). That definitely looks like an issue with the seal. It will be leaking as your driving forward and coming in and up through the seal. I would get a glass specialist to have a look. Maybe your insurance will cover screen placement !
