gettin wet carpets because water collects at the bottom door seal and leaks in rather than drins away!!! any idea why??

this happened on my dads leon all i did was remove door panels and unbolted the were the window motor sticks to and ran some silicone sealer round the edge it stopped it.other wise ya have to buy new panels which id say costs alot.

Mine was doing exactly the same. I removed all the door panels and siliconed around the inner door panel. There is already a 'seal' ther but it obviously doesn't work. Ever since I done that I've had dry floors.
