yeah it still has the same power the car is not in limp mode which is weird , but i not sure if the car always runs in limp mode wen the engine light is on
does any one own a vag com near watford ,

i get you mate,it could be a number of things,or just one,if you can find a friendly member near you with a laptop and VAG-COM they may well be able to tell you whats up.
failing that speak to your local friendly dealer(or VAG tuner) who may be able to help in exchange for a small fee..
