hi folks, just a couple of questions:
firstly, wots the best way to get my rear washer jet working? when i pull the lever, the motor goes, but theres only a tiny drip of water coming out.I've cleared the jet with a needle, but still nothing.
secondly, my passenger side air vent knob has come loose. does the vent just pop out, so i can re-attach the knob? Also, the left centre one has done the same. Cheers
lastly, what engine code is mine? its a 1998 1.4 estillo.

P.S. I've just bought my ibiza on saturday.

There's no F in Quality..
Washer jet - Open the boot and in the left hand corner near the light/bulb assembly there will be a plastic tube, with a L-bend conector on it... this has probably come apart! Usually the case!

Air vents - you can gently prise the vents out of the dash by using a wide blade etc (careful not to dent the plastic) you can then reassemble it. Did this on my Cordy the other week!

The centre one is a bit more tricky, you need to dismantle the entire centre console to get it out. Need to do it on the gf's Ibiza at some point!

As for the engine code, if you look in your boot (under the carpet) there will be a white sticker on the boot floor (left hand side normally) your engine code will be on there.... AEX/APQ something like that....

Hope that helps!

the L bend is fine, & I am still only getting a tiny drip through. I think I'll take the pipe off, & blow through it.
As for the sticker in the boot, it has been removed, presumeably by the previous owner.

Yeh i took mine straight out too. It's a little fiddly and you need to be gentle but it's not too hard a job at all.
