Fitted HID'S last weekend on the LC and mounted drivers side ballast on the intercooler mounting point under the washer bottle.

Took bottle out to mount the ballast so had to pull the pump off the bottle.

Since then though the low level warning light and beep has been coming on and stopping on. I have filled the bottle up since but the warning keeps coming on.

Is there any way this can be reset of have I :censored: it taking it off?

There should be some sort of level sensor in the tank, check to see that if it is a float switch that its not stuck
A friendly tap might help also;)

old thread but need help on this please, ans shows i did search so nah!

How do people remove the washer bottle?
I can see some bolt/screws holding it in, but no space to get at so can remove to reposition hid ballasts.

if helps, i'll post a pic tomorrow as dark and frosty out right now.

Thanks

I couldnt get the bottle out, but by undoing the nuts I managed to wiggle it out a little, and got the blast behind it.

I took mine out last week to clean it. There are two plastic nuts - one at the base towards the front of the car, and one on the inner wing at the top. Thats it. Remove the power connection on the left hand side for the washer pump. Remove the pump from the right hand side by lifting it free of the bottle (and water will immediately come out of the hole obviously). The bottle lifts out with a bit of a tug and a wriggle (of the bottle). There will be a rubber "ring" around the base to watch out for which stops it knocking through vibration (again - of the bottle).

Also, before removing it, take note of how the water pipes route around and under the bottle. I didn't and it took a few mins to suss it out!
