Hi everyone!!!

Ive just moved over from the mk3 group yesterday with a 52 reg 130 TDi sport, and im not regretting it:p.

I do a high mileage and have got used to the 7l screen wash bottle of the mk3. I have searched and found all the threads about changing to the 5l bottle, which I will do next w/e. However, I also know that some cars came with a low warning light for the washer fluid. I have read on here that this can be retro fitted, so, has anyone done this? as this would be a usefull feature to have. Any help would be appreciated.

Ooh, I'd be up for that info as my PAS IT has HIDs and a large tank with warning level switch, but my wife's Polo 9N has winter pack so also has big tank but no warning level switch - found that out the lazy way - tried to enable that function with VAG-COM but got an error message (I think) - later found that there was no level switch fitted!

I check my levels every week anyway sad really i no lol but its best to let ya washer water run out every now and then cause the water starts to smell and gets all lumpy bits in it which blocks the washer motor up so then ya got to take it out and clean it.

I check my levels each week too, but Im dooing 500 miles each week so its easy to run out of washer fluid, not nice on a grited moterway with salt smeered all over the windscreen cos the washer fluid is dry! It would just be nice to have some kind of warning before it happens. Should be an easy mod too.
