Washer Bottle Fluid

It just makes me laugh when you take your car in for a service and you know the washer bottle fluid is low, low and behold the top up appears on your Invoice, and the next day it runs out.

Something so simple to do, yet they cant be bothered, Give me independents anyday.

Likewise at my last service I topped it up the night before and got charged for it.

They told me that they drained and refilled it. Unusually the gear I had was yellow, not the normal blue and lo and behold it was still yellow!

I wouldn't mind if they charged me for it if they left the rest of the bottle in the car!

When I had my Hyundai Coupe the dealer used to leave a 1l bottle of oil in the car after the service. I returned it for a refund

well if they have charged you for something they havnt done, you cant trust them to have done anything else on the invoice...

ive had the same experience.
got charged for some work and the approopriate new part that was needed...

few days later, there is a rattling under my seat, what do i find?
the new part still in its unopened wrapper that i was charged for!

a full refund closely followed as thats simply criminal.

this fluid change this has happened before on here:

the advice i give for this when they say they drain it and refill is if they do it everytime regardless of how full it is. then that forms part of the service.

therefore it should be included within the price quoted for the service.
if its an extra they shoudl contact you for the "go-ahead"

Thats my point, if they cant be bothered to do the simple things, the technician that has been given the job card is obviosuly that way inclined and it beggars belief about anything more serious, Dealerships should be trying harder,but its like they expect it on a plate without giving anything in return.

Thats why I don't use that dealer anymore. Also on my way back home after that service the oil warning light came on. They hadn't put much oil back in!

Got my service done at the Audi dealership I work at and think it was the best service I have ever had! They didn't wash it for me though, grrrr
