Any ideas why its suddenly lit up?

When i stopped last night it was fine, then as soon as i switch on this morn it came on?

checked brake fluid level but ok, im about to check with vagcom but an other ideas?

Aynone know what it actually means as i dont have a manual? its not the abs warning light as that has abs written in the middle of it

VAGcom reported one fault, "implausible signal from clutch pedal switch"

unsure if this is connected

Brake pad wear indicator. Your pads are down to the metal somewhere.

nope pads are less than 4 months old checked them all round fine.

from what iv gathered is it could be a pad wire indicator come loose or pad sensor

either way i might ignore it until the pads need changing

I would have said pad wear indicator light too, might be a dodgy connection or broken wire or something in the lead??
