If anyone has managed to fit one of these I'd be interested too! Anything to get rid of that dull alana unit! (It's crap not having a spec'd up model like the FR/Cupra!!)

Why would it not work in the ibiza?

Cant see how it wont work or be made to work, its just weather the facia will fit properly.

hey man, would not reccomend attempting to fit one, firstly i dont think the mfd2 fits and the second is they are a pain in the a*s. I fitted an mfd version "g" to my ibiza after trying a version "d" back in 2007 and would never attempt again. I had help from a seat/ vw technician and although it would work had loads of problems particularly with the slow update from the system from the gala pulse connection. Realy bad idea but each to there own if you do it and need help pm me as i spend a lot of time on the mfd!
