hi all
just need a bit of advice,i've been offered free of charge a set of alloys from a 55 plate 2.0tdi golf.will they fit my 56 plate altea 2.0 tdi stylance both are on 16'' rims

same fitment across the range so no worries on the rims. tyres may not be the same tho, Altea may have a higher profile

I hunted for a space saver a couple of years ago and found that the pitch centre diameter (PCD) of Golf wheels were a few mm smaller that the my Seat ones. This is the diameter of the 5 stud holes in relationship to a circle from the centre of the wheel that cuts through the centre of the fixing holes. The ofset of a wheel can also be different. You would this as both VAG products they would use the same hub units but this does not seem to be the case. Make sure of these issues first.

The alloys will fit. Mike5, that was the mkiv range u had. Pcd on new range is 5x112, old 5x100 or there abouts.

As long as its a MkV golf they should fit no problems (unless you have 345mm brembo brakes.... )
