void warranty????

hello again all, hope u can help me out a bit. i wanna fit a dump valve on my leon but doin this will it void my warranty on the car?

well if you car has a DV to start with (ie its a turbo'd car) then all you are doing is swapping the std bosch unit with an aftermarket one. If you opt for the black Forge 007P DV then I doubt anyone will notice that it has been changed!

to be fair mate if its only a 2 min job to swap over then it aint really gonna hurt is it. thanks.

It would only affect the warranty on the dump valve anyway, nothing else.

Onus would be on the dealer to prove your new dump valve was responsible if something went wrong, but your just uprating a part.

Besides the Bosch dv is one of 4 or 5 items that is a regular weak point on the 1.8T engine, upgrading it is common sense.

My dealer never ever questioned my Forge 007 or the Bailey DV I had before it
