Hi all,
Totally new to seat and vag cars as i am/was a honda nut but after selling my Type R a couple of months ago am on the search for a LCR and goin to view 2 over the weekend.

first one is a 2004/04 plate grey w/ 61k miles standard £7500 trade seller
second one is 2005/05 plate red w/ 56k miles remap, lowered£7500 private seller

but there is another one 2004/04 red w/44k miles standard but it's £9000 trade seller and a bit further afield, obviously this would be the best car to buy but i was hopin to buy the car and insure it with my 8.5-9k budget!

any advice with this would be great! is 55-60k miles alot for theses cars at 5 years old? when should the cambelt be done 60k?

cheers

The cambelt should have been done on both or all them cars, since its 60k or 6 years. just because its lower miles I would not agree its the better buy :<.. If they are local look at them all m8 see what you think of them.

Just give it a good look over make sure everything you see works or looks right

thanks, apart from the obvious checks any things that i should ask or any recall that should have been done?

the owner of the car with 56k miles and the remap is/was? an ex seat mechanic so has full seat service history etc

it's probably worth having an hpi check anyways!

Do you go anywhere like car parks or with speed bumps ?
you could always swap springs them with someone if you'd like.
