VERY quick answer needed... brake bleeding

sound like you might need to undo one of the nipples or something to let some pressure out. they didnt over fill it did they?

yes they over filled it and also pressure bled them... i had to walk home so im going to try remove some of the fluid from the reservoir and hope for the best...

it almost feels like, when you have the ignition off and the pedal goes stiff after pressing it a few times... this, but the brakes are very tight on... literally the car wont move

you will need to blled again i rekon once you let the fluid out.
Id be on the phone to whoever done it and tell them to sort it!

i replaced the master cylinder, and the two lines that run to the ABS unit.
then i tried to bleed the lot but failed, so drove to a garage who pressure bled it. Worked fine out of the garage... then progressively the brakes started remain 'on' until it got to a point when i could barely drive the car (This is over a period of about 5 minutes, and straight from the garage the brakes were VERY good, but i put this down to them being bled and maybe a bigger master cylinder...). Pulled over to stop them over heating and left it.
Ive removed some of the fluid from the reservoir, and also released the pressure in the servo. Neither have done anything... the brakes are a little less tight but im guessing this is cos the discs have cooled down and 'un'expanded

what do you reckon?

i didnt release some pressure from the caliper nipples yet as its dark now and the cars in a pub car park

Sounds like the master cylinder isnt in right to me and the servo is holding pressure on the brake lines.

Bleeding wont do this, over filled or other wise.

As long as they are compatable then.

Sounds like the servo rod might want adjusting then, if the R cylinder has a different length internally you may find it holds on.

Check to see if the pedal feels tight at the top, should have a tiny bit of free play to lett he brakes off fully and activate the switch.

i would have the 4 wheels up if possible ands see what's rolling freely

does it still do it if the servo is disconnected? if testing - drive carefully and aware mind
