VAGCOM via bluetooth

Hi all,

I have VAGCOM at the moment. Brilliant software. I have never had a problem with any of it.

I am interested in making the dongle wireless using bluetooth.

Now I know that there are multiple products out there which allow this, but that would mean that I have to spend money on another cable and another piece of software/licence.

Does anyone know of a bluetooth dongle like product that I can use to achieve this. I have seen other products, like this: http://www.scantool.net/products/index.php?cPath=8_6 that can do it using a serial interface but they stick their little box inbetween the cable and the dongle which I can only assume alters the information being passed to the computer via the bluetooth dongle.

I just wondered if there was a way of doing it with my USB cable with the VAGCOM software that I have at the moment. I can understand there maybe the issue of the software not seeing the cable over bluetooth but at the moment am more interested in seeing if there is a physical product out there that I can connect to the cable before I start worrying about drivers and emulation

I did think that you might have considered but after having a look at the Ross-Tech website I couldn't find any information on it.
